Students are at the centre of everything we do and we want them to have high aspirations and to excel academically and socially. Through collaboration, every aspect of our work is of high quality.
‘All different, all equal’ summarises what makes Kenton a great school. Our school is rich in diversity and culture. Our fantastic students make the Academy a brilliant and inclusive place to learn and achieve. Our priority is to provide a safe, secure and engaging learning environment – one that is inclusive, ambitious and challenging.

We are delighted to be part of Northern Leaders Trust and together we are committed to providing an excellent education for the children in our communities. We want every student to achieve their academic potential and grow in confidence as future leaders.
Sixth Form Sports & Celebrations🎉🏅
Sixth Form had a wonderful morning celebrating the achievements of many Sixth Form students. From individuals highlighted by specific subject areas, to form class nominations and recommendations from Talk The Talk.
There was a wonderful supportive atmosphere in North Hall for our final assembly of the year. It was also lovely to spend time together on the astroturf pitch for our Sixth Form Old School Sports Day. Students enjoyed games of football, cricket, running races, egg and spoon race, 3-legged race, snakes and ladders, sack race and even some impromptu karaoke at one point with refreshments including Fruit Shoots and Space Raiders!!
We hope you all have a wonderful summer break.

Kenton Visits Cambodia 🇰🇭
We are so proud of the five amazing students from our school who have travelled to Cambodia with Camps International to take part in life-changing community projects. From building essential infrastructure to supporting local education and sustainability efforts, they are making a real difference, and have the opportunity to explore the wonderful country as part of their 4-week expedition.
Their journey is a shining example of global citizenship in action, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they’re representing our school and values abroad.
A huge thank you to everyone in our school community for supporting this incredible opportunity, particularly Miss Monaghan who is accompanying them on the expedition and Mr Clarke and Mr Swan who transported them to Heathrow Airport at 4:00am on Tuesday!

We instil a sense of community in our students, as well as a sense of belonging and compassion for those around them. We ensure that each student feels a part of our school and is active in the school community.
We foster a sense of aspiration and achievement in our students from their first day in Year 7. We support each individual throughout their time with us to both achieve and exceed their future goals.
We offer structure, support and opportunity for each student, irrespective of background or disadvantage and work hard to create an environment where every student is heard.
Through our broad and balanced curriculum and our pastoral care system, we equip our students with the necessary skills to be able to compete on a world-class stage.
