What do I need to know for An Inspector Calls?
For, you should have an understanding of the plot, key characters, themes, motifs, context and quotes.
If students need any extra revision, they should see their English teacher or Mr. Vasey.
Key Motif- Appearance vs. Reality
• Motif: The Birlings appear respectable but hide secrets and moral failings.
• Examples: Gerald’s affair; Mr. Birling’s self-interest; the family's hidden roles in Eva's life.
• Purpose: Exposes the hollowness of social status and the hypocrisy of the upper class.

Remember to reward yourself for the revision you complete this weekend.
The topics you need to focus on are: Atomic Structure, Periodic Table, Structure and Bonding, Quantitative Chemistry, Chemical Changes, Energy Changes.
Reward yourself with a 10 minute break for every 20 minutes of chemistry you revise. 10 minutes to go on your phone, listen to music, sit in the Sun...then back to it for 20 minutes. Repeat, repeat, repeat and get the results you want. Totally worth it!"
