We would like to say a massive thank you to Cowell's Garden Centre for the generous donation of plants, compost and pots for one of our balcony spaces. The balcony is currently being transformed to a wellbeing space for students and staff.
Gardens and gardening can improve both your mental and physical wellbeing. For those who aren’t keen gardeners, the garden balcony space will provide a calming environment where students and staff can come to relax together.
It will also be used by our Art students to take photographs and to display some outside art.

🎓Year 9 Graduation🎓
We were so proud to welcome parents and families to school yesterday to celebrate our wonderful Year 9 graduates before they embark on KS4 in September.
A special thank you to our talented Year 9 performers for playing so beautifully and to Tre for speaking so eloquently about her experiences in KS3.

Yesterday we had Mike from Talk The Talk in school to deliver a workshop to a group of Year 12 students. The workshop focussed on making links between student's experiences and essential life skills (such as time management, communication and working under pressure) and how these skills can be discussed in an interview situation. A brilliant experience for upcoming university and job interviews.
The change in confidence from the start of the day to the end of the day was fantastic!
Nicole, Bailey, Temi and Jess were nominated by Mike as our Oracy champions. Well done, all!
