Students are at the centre of everything we do and we want them to have high aspirations and to excel academically and socially. Through collaboration, every aspect of our work is of high quality.
‘All different, all equal’ summarises what makes Kenton a great school. Our school is rich in diversity and culture. Our fantastic students make the Academy a brilliant and inclusive place to learn and achieve. Our priority is to provide a safe, secure and engaging learning environment – one that is inclusive, ambitious and challenging.

✨️Newcastle Schools Achievement Awards✨️
A big well done to Ruby 👏
Ruby was nominated by the ASPIRE team for the following:-
At one point, Ruby was on the verge of permanent exclusion, struggling with behaviour and disengagement from school life. Through perseverance, support, and a determination to change, they turned their attitude around completely. Ruby not only re-engaged with her learning but also became a positive role model to others. Against the odds, they successfully completed their time at school and sat their GCSEs – a true testament to their resilience and growth.

Amazing news Ruby ⭐️
Amazing, so proud!
This week a handful of year 10 pupils have been on a residential trip to Jesus College, Cambridge. The trip has raised pupils aspirations and given them a real insight into the opportunities open to them in the future.
Pupils got to experience what it is like to be a student at university from staying in student accommodation, attending a academic lecture and several workshops.
On top of all of this pupils were given a tour around Cambridge taking in the wonderful sights and visiting other colleges such as Corpus Christi and King's College.
Miss Turley accompanied pupils on the trip and stated that pupil behaviour and engagement was impeccable, a real credit to Kenton School.

We instil a sense of community in our students, as well as a sense of belonging and compassion for those around them. We ensure that each student feels a part of our school and is active in the school community.
We foster a sense of aspiration and achievement in our students from their first day in Year 7. We support each individual throughout their time with us to both achieve and exceed their future goals.
We offer structure, support and opportunity for each student, irrespective of background or disadvantage and work hard to create an environment where every student is heard.
Through our broad and balanced curriculum and our pastoral care system, we equip our students with the necessary skills to be able to compete on a world-class stage.
