Students at Kenton School are celebrating their success in their GCSE examinations with a record set of results.
This was, of course, coupled with several fantastic individual performances including:
Isla Hunter Blair – 4 Grade 9’s, 1 L2 Distinction, 1 Grade 8 and 3 Grade 7’s, Mia Mather – 6 Grade 9’s 1 L2 Distinction and 2 Grade 8’s and Laaibah Samair – 9 Grade 9’s and 1 L2 Distinction.
Principal, Sinead Green, congratulated students, staff and the wider community on the results and thanked them for their dedication and commitment, saying:
“We are delighted with these results. They reflect how hard our students and staff have worked.”
“Our students are resilient and ambitious. We are so pleased that they have achieved the qualifications that will allow them to embark on the next steps in their education. While the majority will remain at Kenton School 6th form, some students will be beginning apprenticeships. We wish them all the very best of luck for the future!”
