Sports Leaders Level 2 will be an enrichment lesson aimed to develop students outside of the normal curriculum. This will be additional hours on your timetable. Sports leaders will train you in how to plan and lead sport sessions.
Sports Leaders Level 3 will be an enrichment lesson aimed to develop students outside of the normal curriculum. It will build on the skills developed in Level 2 Sports Leaders, however this is not a pre-requisite for the course. Level 3 Sports Leaders awards, if passed, will be worth an additional 16 UCAS points. Sports leaders will train you in how to plan and lead sport sessions both in groups and on your own.
An interest in sports coaching and or leadership.
Leading sports sessions to school pupils and or the community
These courses will develop leadership, communication and organisational skills.
These courses will give you life-long skills such as team building and leadership that are needed in all types of employment.
