Why study this course?

Technical Level 3 Hairdressing is very different to the GCSE. It covers all areas of cutting, colouring and styling. There are advanced practical skills to carry out as well as A Level theory content in science, skills theory and health and safety. It is a rewarding course that explores a variety of advanced practical and thinking skills as well as enhancing communication and consultation skills. This course promotes confidence and the compulsory work placement element within an external salon provides a real understanding of a career in hairdressing.

What interests should you have?

This course covers all aspects of hairdressing. It is a great course if you enjoy art and design as it is a very creative subject so a creative flair is necessary along with good dexterity and GCSE grades at Level 4 and/or above.

Practical skills, written exam and an assignment.
