We follow Newcastle City Council’s admissions procedures for secondary schools for all year groups. This includes the admission arrangements for learners in Years 8 to 11 who are making in-year applications.

There is a right for people to object about the policy to the Schools Adjudicator (OSA). See the Schools Adjudicator website for more information on how to do this.

As part of Northern Leaders Trust, we work closely with our colleagues at Studio West to ensure that every learner who would like to study with us is offered the best choice of education.
Studio West offers a different approach to Kenton School: education is often taken out of the classroom, with learners working in teams in the real world on projects designed to reflect real-life situations. Learners also attend weekly work placements to develop the employability skills needed to succeed in life and work.
