Why study this course?

Children’s Play, Learning and Development is a great course for anyone thinking about pursuing a career which involves working with children. It will give you an understanding of how children grow and develop, key milestones along the way and how we can support children throughout this process.

What interests should you have?

You should have an interest in exploring how children develop and grow throughout childhood and how they acquire specific skills and knowledge. Also, an interest in understanding how we can keep children safe throughout their period of childhood and how we can help them to reach their potential is desirable.

Two units of coursework and two external exams.
